"Level Placement Test & Re-evaluation Test" (レベル分けテスト & 再評価テスト, Reberu wake Tesuto & Saihyouka Tesuto) is the second episode of the third season of Produce 101 Japan. In Japan, the episode premiered on Lemino on October 12, 2023. It was broadcast internationally with English subtitles on YouTube on October 16, 2023.

The lessons for the "Re-evaluation Test" are divided into classes from A to F. Even A-class trainees who are talented dancers and have over 10 years of dance experience lose confidence after receiving harsh evaluations from the trainers.
Things don't go as planned due to the rush of having to completely learn the performance in a short time period... To overcome your own limitations, you must let your body absorb the music.

During the "Level Placement Test", there were twelve contestants in A-class, 21 in B-class, 27 in C-class, 24 in D-class, and twelve in F-class. Trainees who have received an F grade aren't allowed to stand on stage during the filming of the theme song.
The "Re-evaluation test" is decided by a single performance! Some trainees even forget the lyrics and dance moves due to this stress they've never experienced before. What will be the result of the re-evaluation that will decide their fates?Summary[]
The "Level Placement Test" continues and the final twelve teams perform. After all the contestants have received their grades, they begin training for their next mission: the "Re-evaluation Test". Contestants are grouped together by grade and learn the choreography and lyrics to the theme song "LEAP HIGH" under the trainers' instruction. After practice has ended, each contestant performs the song in front of the trainers, who will then decide whether they will re-assign them a new grade or keep the original one.
